Notes:
- CSP and Santosh briefed the team about Mukta and its current projects
- Pradeep gave an overview of his Eye donation campaign and how we could contribute to the cause
- Pradeep suggested that we could explore Ramanshree school for blind to identify opportunities- Niranjan sharded new opportunities that Mukta can take up with respect to Karunashraya (Old age home for Cancer patients) and Indira Gandhi International Acamedy (Residential school for Srilankan refugee children)
- Niranjan suggested that we need to pool in more volunteers to Mukta and have periodic meetings (at least once in a month) to keep the Mukta spirit alive
- Yugandhar suggested that Mukta volunteers could work with their respective company HR department to provide employment opportunities for the disabled.
Next steps:
- Work with iGate official to see whether Eye Donation Awareness Stall could be setup at the company's premises (AR: Pradeep)
- Once the iGate campaign is successful, talk to respective company officials for setting up such similar stalls in the premises (AR: All)
- Explore opportunities with Ramanshree school for the blind (AR: Pradeep and Yugandhar )
- Explore opportunities with Sidaganga math (AR: Niranjan)
- Fix-up a visit to the refugee school to explore opportunities (AR: Niranjan)
- Fix-up a visit to Karunashreya (AR: Niranjan)
- Coordinate with Mukta volunteers to organize a Musical concert for Karunashreya residents (AR: Niranjan)
- Talk to AIR artist for the Musical concert (AR: CSP)
- Talk to Honeywell colleague for the Musical concert (AR: Yugandhar)
- Talk to Siemen's HR music band for the Musical concert (AR: Priya)- Talk to NAB director to fix-up a tour of National Association of Blind on Saturday, Feb 7th ( AR: Santosh)
- Find scribes for Samarthanam students (AR: All)
- Raise the issue of Scribes to the education department (AR: CSP)
- Bring in more volunteers to next meet (AR: Niranjan)
